Concrete Piling

At each piling location we will hand dig a hole that is approximately two feet square. Any plants, which may be in the way, are relocated.  Each pile section is hydraulically driven beneath the ​the foundation, adding as many section as necessary, to reach bedrock or refusal. Then 1/2 inch rebar are then inserted through the pilings to ensure proper alignment.

Steel Piling

Each steel pile section is hydraulically driven beneath the foundation using the weight of the home.  The first piece is friction reducer, wider that the pipe, inserted into the 2 7/8 pipe section. Reducing the amount of friction on the cylinder walls. All sections are added until bedrock is reached or until refusal.

Pier and Beam foundation

The initial inspection will reveal the cause of the problem.  A repair recommendation will be made, if needed, based on a number of factors including any rotted wood found and the condition of the piers, girders, floor joists and sub flooring.  The typical process of repair includes replacing any rotted wood ensuring the floor is structurally sound and verifying footing are in good condition.  Jacks are positioned in the appropriate areas.  The girder beams are shimmed to the best possible result for the homeowner.
